Book #1 from the series: Vampire Kings

Mercy of the Vampire King

About

What kind of fool would beg mercy from a vampire, even if he is a king?

Valdís, a noblewoman desperate to protect her people from her treacherous mother and sister, embarks on a perilous journey to seek aid from the legendary vampire kings. But when she arrives at their opulent castle, she's met with an unexpected force: an irresistible attraction to the enigmatic King Knox. His blood ignites a primal hunger within her, a desire that could prove fatal.

Knox, weary of his reign and yearning for excitement, finds his monotonous existence shattered by Valdís's arrival. Her fiery spirit and unwavering courage captivate him, awakening a dormant passion he thought he'd long forgotten.

But their burgeoning romance is quickly overshadowed by a looming threat: the return of the Outsiders, a formidable enemy bent on conquering their land. As war erupts, Valdís must choose between her duty to her people, her growing affection for Knox, and the terrifying power awakening within her.

Will she be able to navigate the treacherous political landscape, fight off the invaders, and ultimately save her kingdom, or will her desires consume her and lead to her downfall?
